据笔者了解，现在，已经有不少美国大学开设了金融工程的课程，如加州伯克利大学、普林斯顿大学、斯坦福大学、芝加哥大学、哥伦比亚大学、康奈尔大学、密西根安阿伯大学、卡耐基梅隆大学、纽约大学、南加州大学等等。除美国外，有英国的牛津大学和爱丁堡大学，加拿大的多伦多大学和约克大学，等等。亚洲的国家中，新加坡作为东南亚金融中心走在了前列，新加坡国立大学和南洋理工学院都开设了相应的课程。更多的大学可以查看国际金融工程师联合会IAFE (International Association of Financial Engineers) 的网址，其中有各所开设MFE课程的大学的链接，网址是：http://www.iafe.org/educate/fe_schools.ihtml
